Meet The Team

Phil Rogers

Director

Phil grew up on Pengelly Barton Farm, before heading off to hone his skills at the then-Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester. After his studies, Phil returned to the farm to work alongside Simon, growing potatoes and raising dairy cattle and pigs.

As Pengelly Farms grows, Phil works closely with industry contacts to acquire new customers, secures the business against external shocks and ensures that quality Cornish spuds keep reaching plates, year after year.

Off the farm, Phil enjoys cricket and rugby, along with country pursuits like fishing, shooting and wildlife conservation.

Simon Rogers

Director

Coming from a longstanding Cornish farming family, Simon moved from St Ives to Breage with his parents when they sold their pub and bought Pengelly Barton Farm, starting off Pengelly Farms Ltd in earnest.

Simon has seen Pengelly Farms grow from a mixed dairy farm to a Cornish potato specialist with an international reach, and works alongside Phil to manage the farm day-to-day.

Simon’s interests include shooting, aviation and conservation.
